Deer Strike!
Member Joe Aaron became tangled up with one of infamous Hill Country deer while riding to breakfast this past Saturday, January 23rd. The incident occurred on US-281 just north of Johnson City. Joe is doing well; some broken ribs, a broken clavicle, but no head trauma nor serious road rash. Joe was taken by ambulance to Brackenridge hospital in Austin, where he will be kept under observation for a couple of days. His K1200GT is presently resting in an impound lot in Johnson City.
