The Hill Country BMW Riders are hosting a charity event to benefit the Helping Hand Home for Children in Austin. This is a Hill Country ride-to-eat event, serving up our legendary Texas Road-Kill Chili at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2nd, in the Rest Area just 1 mile east of the LBJ National Historic Park entrance on US-290 near Stonewall, TX. We'll be at the larger pavilion that has three tables near the church.
Word has it that this year's Chili is our best yet! Of course, there will be fixin's for the Chili, but never any beans.
While enjoying your Chili and comradery, you'll have the opportunity to make contributions to the Helping Hand Home for Children, either directly or through the purchase of a take-home tub of our legendary Texas Road-Kill Chili.
To make your "Chili Run" a little more interesting, we'll be circulating a short list of mystery waypoints a day or so before the event. As an additional incentive, visiting waypoints will entitle riders to a discount on the price of the Chili - more waypoints, deeper discount. A generous portion of Chili is only $5, without any waypoint discounts.
